On Tuesday, 9 January we have our first meeting of 2024 at 7.30 pm at the Weaverham Primary Academy, Northwich Road, CW8 3BD. On that evening we will be taking a look at the Victorian attitudes to “fallen women”, and what life may have been like for women who were perceived to have strayed from the female ideal.
Our speaker, Elizabeth Williams, has visited us before and her talks are always entertaining and instructive.
