died 25th October 1918 ,aged 19.

Son of Thomas C and Emma H of Beach Road, Weaverham, Cheshire., He is at rest in Ingoyghem Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderens, Belgium

 

Private Henry (Harry) Chesworth Leadbeater, 36, Machine Gun Corps was only 19 when he died on 25thOctober 1918 approximately two weeks before the Armistice.  He was a native of Barnton and the son of Thomas C. and Emma H. Leadbeater of Beach Rd, Weaverham. ( Beach Rd. is now in Hartford ).  Henry is buried in Ingoyghem Military Cemetery, West Vlaanderen, Belgium. He is commemorated on the Weaverham War Memorial and on the Brunner Mond War Memorial at Winnington.

Private Harry Leadbeater

Mr and Mrs Leadbeater of Beach Lane Weaverham have received a letter from a Comrade of their son, private Harry Leadbeater , stating that he has been killed, but so far, there has been no official confirmation of the news.

Private Leadbeater , who was 19 years of age, enlisted about 12 months ago, and was previously on the clerical staff in the purchase Department of Brunner, Mond and Co. Winnington
