An interesting black and white print of the old Star Inn and Scales and Sons Boot Manufacturers by local artist Mr. A. Daffern welcomes the Christmas season in for this year. Last year its coloured counterpart and others that have adorned Christmas cards showing village life at this time of year were featured.
This year younger hands feature as well, with the society having received past illustrations from the Churches Together group that display the different services that can occur at Christmas.
Needless to say, the young artists featured are a little older now.
