Welcome to the start of our new season of talks. On Tuesday, 9 September we have Jonathan Plant who has been exploring some of the prehistoric forts and enclosures which can be discovered in Cheshire, in particular along the Sandstone Ridge. So although the grassy lumps and bumps you may see on your walks will not be as dramatic as here at the Ring of Brodgar on Orkney, they could still be historical rather than geological .
