At our next meeting Anthony Annakin-Smith will be taking us back to 19th century Parkgate, a time of daring do and a convenient jumping off point for seafarers. This is the extraordinary story of 3 individuals whose lives intersected in 19th century Parkgate: a tragic seafarer, an eminent politician and a courageous woman. It’s a tale which includes remarkable twists and illicit love.
